Caoimhe Crossey the Antrim Maiden

Caoimhe is a final year student at Queen's University reading Law and Politics. A keen camogie player, she has played at club, university and county level and is also club secretary at university. Caoimhe enjoys running and has completed three half marathons. She also takes part in amateur theatre and has appeared in productions of 'West Side Story' and 'Blood Brothers' Caoimhe is also very involvedin a cross community charity called 'Friends of Romania' and has spent two summers in Romania bringing aid to those orphans who need it most.


Grace Lavery the Armagh Maiden.

At present Grace is studying for her CIDESCO at Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School, Belfast.  If successful she plans to go to university to study business or complementary therapies so that she can open up her own business and offer a wide range of treatments to the public. Grace enjoys working with the public and until recently worked at Lurgan Hospital, where she built a good rapport with many elderly patients. Her interest is in Irish music playing the tin whistle and having competed successfully at County and Ulster Fléadhs.
Jacqueline Gracey the Belfast Maiden

Jacqueline hopes to begin studying for a degree in Social Work/Sociology in September next, after taking  a year out after 'A' Levels to gain experience in this field by carrying out care work for the disabled and elderly, as a nursery assistant, as a volunteer worker in a hostel for teenage mothers and in a school for children with severe learning difficulties. She also has been attending a part time course in 'Advanced Care in the Community'. Jacqueline has a part time job as a sales assistant in Tesco.
Sarah Dunne the Clare Maiden

Sarah has just completed a business course in Kilrush Community School and has received two scholarships for Irish Music in the University of Limerick. Her hobbies include singing and playing musical instruments. Sarah also works part time in Kelly's Bar and Restaurent in Kilrush.
Claire Lambe the Derry Maiden

Claire is a student at the University of Ulster reading Communication, Advertising and Marketing. She enjoys acting and singing and has achieved her gold award LAMDA and grades in Trinity. Claire loves keeping fit, socialising and shopping! Her ambition is to work as a broadcast journalist, possibly as a newsreader or correspondent.
Rachelle Mooney, the Down Maiden

Rachelle is currently studying for her 'A' Levels at Banbridge Academy. Her hobbies include dancing, singing and musical theatre. Her dancing has taken her to the Royal School of Ballet and the Laine Theatre and she has represented Northern Ireland in Manchester at the Festival4Stars. Rachelle enjoys performing on stage with the Banbridge Musical Society where she has appeared in such productions as 'The King and I' and has played the lead role of Alice in 'The Wizard of Oz'. She is currently taking part in a training course called 'Dance Studio' working with professional dancers and choreographers.
Aisling Danagher the Limerick Maiden

Aisling is currently a first year student of Business Studies at the University of Limerick. She hopes to become a teacher when she has  her degree. Aisling is very passionate about sport especially basketball. She is very competitive and can't wait to come up to see the the north of Ireland
Katherine Cordry the New Jersey Maiden

Katherine is presently studying for a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts in Acting at DePaul University, Chicago. Her main interests are in singing and acting and she has taken part in many productions including 42nd Street, grease, Footloose, West Side Story and Oliver in which she played the part of the Artful Dodger.
Maria McLaughlin the Newry & Mourne Maiden

Maria is in her final year of a degree in Primary Education combined with a degree in Science. She hopes to take up a position as a Primary Teacher when she graduates.Maria enjoys playing the guitar and singing and has taken part in many competitions. She currently works part time in the Newcastle Tourist Information Centre
Katelyn Wood the Pittsburgh Maiden

Katelyn will be pursuing a masters Degree in Musicology this autumn at Florida State University. She plans on concentrating her studies in he field of Medical Ethnomusicology (music and healing). Her educational background includes studies at Saint Mary's College (B.M.), the University of Notre Dame, and Trinity College Dublin (Summer Study Abroad  Programme). She has been involved with service organizations such as The Amani Children's Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Pittsburgh Refugee Centre.
Anna Ovchinnikova the Russian Maiden.

Anna has completed a degree in Economics and Engineering at the University of St. Petersburg specialising in Management. She now works as the economist in the Department of Planning for Apatitelectro. Anna enjoys skiing in winter and cycling in summer. She is at present on an exchange programme with Newry & Mourne District Council
Meghan McLelland the San Diego Maiden
Meghan is a full-time student at Grossmont Community College with a focus on Theatre and Psychology. She is an actor at Point Loma Actors, a local theatre group in San Diego, as well as a local San Diego model for various designers throughout San Diego. Her hobbies include reading, volunteering with the Irish Congress of Southern California, ballet, singing, and watching live theatre. Her greatest passions are travelling and education, which significantly tie hand-in-hand together.
Emily McKeon the Sligo Maiden

Emily is currently studying for a Hotel and catering Degree in Gmit. She hopes eventually to go into event management and works part time in Markree Castle Hotel in Collooney, Co Sligo. Her hobbies include socialising, reading and following G.A.A sports.
Pamela Cassells the Tyrone Maiden
Pamela presently runs her own School Of Performance teaching Speech and Drama, Hip Hop Dance, and Acting. She really enjoys her job which reaches out to kids and young people from all sides of the community. She is also an actress herself and has just finished a television drama with James Nesbitt. Pamela also really enjoys writing her own material for drama and has written numerous short scenes and plays, which her students have performed and won awards for at local competitions. Apart from performing and teaching Pamela loves nothing more than spending time relaxing with her family and friends. Oh! and shopping of course!!!
Ailish Matthews the Warrenpoint Maiden.

Ailish is currently studying for a BSc Hons degree in Property Investment and Development st the University of Ulster after which she hopes to become a Chartered Surveyor and one day to own her own Estate Agency and property Development Company. Her interests include architecture, singing and  drama and has performed at various competitions and concerts.
