Siobhán Murillo was born and raised in Coronado, California, but her Irish heritage runs deep. Siobhán’s paternal grandmother emigrated from Fenagh, County Leitrim, when she was 19 years old, following her older sister to New York. Siobhán participated in Irish dance for a number of years as a child and played the piano for eight years. She is proud of her dual American and Irish citizenship.

My name is Gabija Trakimaite, I am 18 years old originally from Lithuania. I attended SRC to study business and I am currently working in St Josephs nursing home in Warrenpoint. I love fashion and have travelled on the continent doing fashion shows. I love socialising and meeting new people, trying new things and I hope to be a good role model to others.
Stacey has just finished her seventh year in Sacred Heart Grammar School, Newry, where she studied French, Business Studies, Moving Image Arts and Theatres Studies. She works part time in Country Fried Chicken in Warrenpoint. Recently Stacey has joined the Bosco Drama Group in Newry, where she has been given the small supporting role of “Whitney”, in the Bosco’s portrayal of Legally Blonde the Musical, she will perform alongside the Bosco cast in the first week of December. She has a keen interest in Drama and musical theatre and wishes to pursue her passion for drama next year in Queens University Belfast where she wishes to study Drama followed by a PGCE, which will enable her to teach drama at a secondary school standard.
Joanna is 20 years old and has just finished her first year studying tourism management in Liverpool John Moore's University. She enjoys travelling, musical theatre and spending a lot of time with her family and friends.
Maggie has been extremely dedicated in all types of community service. She has been apart of LAOH division #23 for 10 years and is currently the President of the Junior Division. They have assisted the local community through a Post-it forward project that provides free food to the homeless and have raised money to give to families during the holiday season so they could buy either food or gifts.
She has joined on two mission trips through her church where they not only built houses, waterlines and porches but spent the entire year volunteering and raising thousands of dollars to fund their own program.
My name is Chase Waldt. I relocated to Southern Pines shortly before enrolling at UNC Charlotte as a full time student. I will graduate this December with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. I am one of three children, with an older brother and a younger sister. In my free time I love to travel. My most recent adventure was travelling to Paris, which included an 8 day cruise along the Seine River. The highlight off this trip was standing on Omaha Beach in Normandy with my grandfather, who was born and raised in Norway during WWII. I am most fulfilled spending quality with my family. The majority of free time I am focused on excelling in academics. I love swimming, boating and exercising. t is my privilege and honor to represent Southern Pines at The Maiden of The Mournes Festival this year!

My name is Bronagh Quinn. I live in Dundalk, Co Louth. I am 20 years old. I am studying Event Management in Dundalk Institute of Technology, I recently finished my placement in Compass on the Google Campus. In 2018, I was crowned the Carlingford Oyster Pearl. As this years Oyster Pearl, I organised a fundraiser in aid of the Zoe Murphy Appeal & Carlingford Heritage Centre, in total I raised €3540.00. I enjoy spending my free time dancing. I am a proud member of the Scoil Rince Mona Ní Rodaigh, which is an Irish Dancing School located in Dundalk. I placed 4th in the Ulster Championships last year, and placed in the top 50 of the World Irish Dancing Championships in April. I am extremely excited to take part and represent Louth in this years the Maidens Of Mourne.
Emma Slater is nineteen years old from Warrenpoint. She is currently studying Theatre in the University of Chichester, of which she has the brilliant opportunity of representing in this years’ festival. During her first year she got the experience of performing in the Brighton Fringe Festival and more locally has been previously involved in many Bosco and Newpoint productions. She hopes to continue to pursue this as a career and aims to inspire younger generations to get involved in the arts.
